SCRIPTURES: |
| Scriptures of the Worthy Grand Matron: |
| 1. 1 John 3:1-3 See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And every one who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure. (RSV) |
| 2. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (KJV)
|
| 3. Psalms 144:9 I will sing a new song to thee, O God; upon a ten-stringed harp I will play to thee. (RSV)
|
| 4. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law. (RSV)
|
| 5. Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (KJV)
|
| 6. Ephesians 5:1-2 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (RSV) |
| Scriptures of the Worthy Grand Patron: |
| 1. Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." (RSV)
